it's a never ending journey....

Life never seems to stay the same for a moment! In the midst of all the busy holiday happenings, Zach finished another semester at BYU-I and he did amazing!!! This was his hardest semester thus far and he rocked it! He got all A's except one A- in Physics!!! I'm so proud of him! Plus, in the midst of finals, Zach received a new calling at church. He is now 2nd counselor in the bishopric!! It was definitely a surprise but they couldn't have picked a better man for the job! It has added to the business of our days but it's been a great blessing! When Zach got set apart, his whole entire family came up to Rexburg!!! It was definitely an amazing day to be all together and we are so grateful for Jared, Em, Apollo, and Naomi for coming to visit as well!!! 

Another great achievement for the Pugmire family: Jared graduated Physical Therapy school with his doctorate! We are so proud of him and also so jealous! Zach still has a long way to go but he has so many wonderful examples around him! Congratulations Jared!

I absolutely love love LOVE Christmas!! It is seriously my favorite time of year! I love spending time with family and of course the food is delicious! We spent Christmas in Rupert with my family and it was a blast! We didn't have our annual Island Park snowmobiling trip this year, which was greatly missed, but we still played games, watched movies, let off fireworks, and ate so much!!! It was definitely a great Christmas vacation. Plus, Kaity was home from Philly and it was so great spending so much time with her! It was much needed time with the fam!! :)

I am still teaching preschool and also working for our apartment manager. It keeps my days busy but it's been nice having the extra paycheck! That pretty much sums up our month and feel so blessed to have family and friends surrounding us! This year has gone so fast but it's been a great year! Bring on 2013! Can't wait for our trip to Philly for Kaity's graduation in January! :)

Livin' La Vida without the Loca!!

We finally got away from our crazy life and completely relaxed on the best vacation ever!!!! We feel so lucky to have been able to go on this cruise to celebrate our one year anniversary!! I can't believe it has been a year! It has flown by but it's been the best year of my life. I seriously am the luckiest girl in the world to have the most wonderful husband!! We have had some amazing adventures together!!

We went on a cruise down the Mexican Riviera and stopped in Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas. This was my first cruise ever and can't believe I have been missing out on so much! Zach has been on this same cruise before with his family so he got to be the head of our trip and he was so excited to show me around! We spent the first two and a half days at sea. It was so fun to explore the ship and relax! 

We played some mini golf! It was kinda crazy to look down and play mini golf and then look up and see nothing but ocean!!

  We never get dressed up to go out on a date when we are at home but on the cruise it's a whole other story! We got all dressed up to go to dinner. The other table guests were so fun! We loved our table of 10 people! Never a dull moment learning and getting to know each other!

 In Puerto Vallarta, we went zip lining!!!! It was awesome!! We had such a great time! You just lift up your feet and fly down the line to the next tree!! I think we did 15 zip lines total! It was soooo incredibly hot and humid though! But so worth it!

In addition to zip lines, we repelled a couple times. I'm not even sure how far we were up in the trees but the first time we repelled, Zach flew down and loved it! I was a little nervous stepping off the platform so I went a little slower but in the end I had a great time!! 

There was a couple in our group when we went zip lining and we became instant friends! Andy and Mckell  are from Lehi, UT and they have been married a year longer than us. We hung out with them the rest of the week and absolutely loved getting to know them! We had some great times going to the shows and hanging out just talking! Hopefully we can get together again soon!! It's great we got a picture together!

 There was a rope ladder from the ground ALL the way to the tree tops and we had to climb up!! It got tiring because I was holding on so tight! I should have counted how many rungs on the ladder there were but I know it was a ton! That was probably the hardest thing of the whole excursion! We also walked across a rope to get to the other tree. It was easier than I thought it would be! Don't worry.... we were hooked onto a safety rope the whole time!!! :)

 This picture was as we were leaving Puerto Vallarta. We were about to go down to dinner. It was actually very pretty in Puerto Vallarta! Lots of mountains and very green!

We got to go parasailing!!! I have been wanting to go for sooooooo long and we finally got the chance! It was so peaceful and quiet! It was just me and Zach looking out at Cabo and enjoying how beautiful it is!!! Definitely one of my favorite parts of the cruise!!

While we were in Cabo, we went snorkeling and then around Los Arcos and Lovers Beach! It was beautiful! It is where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. It was great! I wish we could have gotten a better picture with us in front of it.... there were a lot of people on the boat with us. Zach had a great time snorkeling but I didn't really enjoy it much this time. It was so crowded!!! But how can I complain too much about being in CABO?! 

  After parasailing, Zach and I walked around the pier and shopped around as we made our way to the beach on the other side. The water is so blue and clear! It was so fun to swim and to hang out on the beach with Andy and Mckell! It was fun to take pictures in front of our cruise ship too!! Zach is such a stud! :)

 We loved our cruise!! It was so relaxing and great to spend so much time together and to celebrate our past year! We had such a great time and can't wait to plan our next one!!

Alaskan cruise anyone?? :) YES PLEASE!!

VEGAS

Over the week break from school, we went to St. George and Vegas with some great friends, Bow and Danni. We had so much fun swimming and enjoying the sun in St. George... until the weather turned rainy and foggy towards the end of the week. But we had so much fun in Vegas walking the strip and experiencing the mild part of Vegas! It was a good break from work and school!!

Yes... this is the actual Pawn Stars store! We didn't see any of the stars though....

We went with Bow and Danni and had a great time!!

This was on our way back to Rexburg from St. George after a massive snow storm  just north of where we were. It's so crazy that they can be so close to each other but be sooooo different!

Welcome to Marriage!

Well what can I say about marriage?! :) It has been absolutely amazing! Definitely some adapting but it has been great being able to make plans together! I can't believe it has been 9 months already! It helps that we have wonderful family who are close by and so supportive and loving!! I am truly blessed to be able to be married and spend the rest of eternity with this incredible stud! He has been a blessing in my life in so many ways that I didn't even realize! Life is crazy but it's been a great adventure!
